STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE

Close-up of the smoothie in all its deliciousness. is that a word? Whatever, you know what i mean.
Lopsided fuzzy pic of the finished product.

These are strawberries from our garden last year that have been frozen...tasty!

Above are the smoothie ingredients i used. Not exactly the same as the recipe that follows, but it was the second time i made it and i always like to use the recipe the first time, then add my own twist. The first time i made this i decided it needed a little sweet, so i squirted some local honey into the mix. This time i noticed that the Almond Milk doesn't have much protein, so i added the protein powder you see in the back, one scoop. Otherwise, follow the recipe below and add your own stuff, go crazy!

Strawberry Almond Butter Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 cup frozen (not thawed) whole strawberries
2 tablespoons smooth almond butter
1 cup chilled soy milk or other non-dairy milk
Method
Put all ingredients into a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into glass and serve.
