We planted our potatoes yesterday. Red, baking potatoes, and purple potatoes. Purple is so much more fun than regular and trying to find something fun about a potato is difficult.
Aren't they cool! We planted them a couple of years ago, but forgot last year. They are really creamy and smooth for mashed potatoes. The lavendar color (after adding the milk) takes a little getting used to, but they are great for baked chips. Kids love 'em.
In they go, to do their growing magic. I just love gardening because it is just a miracle to me how it all works.
