If you are a banana lover, just take a look at this super easy and simple smoothie.
First of all, the bananas have to be frozen.
Do not try with fresh bananas, because it turns into a globby mess.
Now that we have that out of the way.
Peel bananas and wrap in cling wrap and freeze overnight.
I also chunk the bananas up before freezing, so they are ready to go right in the blender.
It is a great way to save an almost too ripe banana.
You will also need almond (my favorite) or vanilla extract.
Or as in this case, both.
Also, a little dash of cinnamon.
Well, maybe a lot of cinnamon.
Can't get too much for me.
One cup of milk in the blender first.
Then add banana, and a dash of each above ingredient.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
If you noticed, there is no sugar or honey in this recipe.
That's because it doesn't need it.
Seriously, it is very sweet.
A little Redi-whip on top.
Wow, it looks yummy!
Pretty posed shot.
Yum!
