The coop has found a place.
The cute little coop is settled into a location and fenced. Notice how the nests and a handle, to open and close the door, are outside the fence.
Now, we can gather eggs and let the chicks out without going into the pen.
So handy, so cute!
Cluck and Chuckles have actually moved in. Chuckles, however, can still fit through the fence. So, we have to keep an eye on them when they are out of the coop. They seem to like their new pad.
Cluck is just the best.
She stays where she is supposed to and is very calm.
Then there is Chuckles. She doesn't want to be fenced in. She's a free spirit. Although, once she escapes she spends the rest of the time trying to figure out how to get back to Cluck.
BABY CHICKS on a FIELD TRIP.
Their first trip into the big scary world.
Sylvia.
She was the last to venture out.
I thought she would be the leader. Shows how much I know.
Busy chicks...looking for bugs. Good girls!
Now here's the Sylvia I know and love. She just took a while to warm up.
Ginger's feathers are just busting out. Those red stripes are brand new feathers.
Pepper is getting lots of feathers also.
She is one of the Dominiques.
She's going to be a good looking bird.
Biscuit, you pretty chick!
And the Chicken Whisperer.
2Groovydude spending a little time with Cluck and Chuckles.
We are definitely in Chick City. It's a chick fest, I'm telling you!
