Not a package of sticky notes and pens from the drugstore.
These pics are a present i gave to him for his birthday today. Ithink it is "thoughtful".
He loves his guitar, so i took some interesting photos of it. (This is the back of my leopard print blanket on the bed and pics from different angles. i was also in some different angles trying to get the shots.) I think they turned out pretty cool, hip even.
So after i took several shots i developed the pics and bought a frame and picked the ones i thought looked the best and most artsy. I am by no means a photographer, but i like to play around with my camera. this is what happened.
Notice the shadow shots (I especially like those) and the most important thing is...Daddio liked them, too. Did i mention, he loves this guitar? He is more hip than me.

I had to go to a training course today. Why does that exhaust me more than running around working all day like i normally do? Anyway, i needed a pick-me-up, so here are some pictures of my baby (she's really almost 5 years old, but she will always be my baby) from our last snow storm. We've had more snow than normal around here it seems, but she doesn't mind.
Talk about up to your ears! You can't even see her little stubby legs.

I would love the snow too if i had a permanent fur coat. Lucky girl.

This is the Thomas Gilcrease home where we go for our Family Art class.
These are really cool cow skulls my artsy fartsy son made.
I love my owl!
Going to art class with my son (he's artsy fartsy) at Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK. Check'em out http://www.gilcrease.utulsa.edu/
we have already attending one Family art class and going back for more. Last time was relief art...today it was sculptures, fun! First we sketched what we wanted to sculpt, then created some interesting things...trying something new!
faux painting in two room (boys bathroom and director's office) i was in on this one.
fence building for miniature horses, what!
pulling weeds and clearing brush
my boys love a good project, so they were in project heaven.
Just a few more weeks until our chicks arrive, we are just like expecting parents...so excited. Next we have to purchase a brooder...whatever that is. we will learn. i have to say that we are definitely getting these chicks as pets...eating those eggs only. Don't eat your pets! i beg you.
